<image:caption>Our church has partnered with Gregorio Thomas who serves with SAP Ministry and is a local pastor leading a church in the Sabaneta de Yasica region of the Dominican Republic (DR). We have sent several teams to serve with Gregorio in the Dominican Republic over the last decade. Our partnership with Pastor Gregorio has been possible because of the SAP Ministry. SAP stands for Servir al Prójimo which means Serve your Neighbor. SAP is a Christ-centered ministry devoted to serving people along the north shore of the Dominican Republic in the name of Jesus Christ—demonstrating His love through compassionate service, meeting practical needs, and sharing the hope of the gospel. Following the command of Jesus to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31), SAP seeks to meet both physical and spiritual needs in the communities it serves. Through acts of compassion, generosity, and presence, the ministry demonstrates the love of Christ while pointing people to the life-changing message of the gospel. SAP’s desire is that through serving others—whether through practical help, encouragement, or prayer—people would experience the mercy of God and come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. FCC formed our partnership with Pastor Gregorio in January of 2013 after 4 leaders from FCC traveled to the Dominican Republic to meet six different potential pastor partners. At the conclusion of this exploratory trip, all four leaders felt called to partner with Pastor Gregorio. Since then, over 150 people from FCC have been down to the DR to serve the community that Pastor Gregorio shepherds. During those trips, we have participated in feeding the children at the Nutrition Center, held VBS programs, painted the church, painted several houses, constructed a kitchen for the Nutrition Center, constructed a concrete walkway between the road and the feeding center (which is prone to flooding), canvassed the community praying for different individuals we met along the way, as well as handed out invitations to Gregorio’s church services which always results in a packed house. We have also been blessed to witness and participate in many baptisms of new believers in the river by the church!</image:caption>

      <image:title>kager-medical-ambassadors-mission-dispensary - Kager Medical Ambassadors Mission Dispensary</image:title>
<image:caption>Kager Medical Ambassadors Mission Dispensary is a health clinic in rural Kenya started in 2002 by Pastor David Kayando, a Kenyan national who knew that the Lord was calling him to minister to the needs of his and surrounding villages. Reflecting on the suffering of many people in these rural villages, he saw many die from preventable and curable diseases simply due to having no access to health care. The clinic officially opened with one Nurse and one Nurse’s Aide on staff. For over eight years, the clinic was very limited in the services it could provide. However, God was at work and in the past seven years there was expansion and increased service delivery, as well as recognition by the government as a major player in health service provision in this rural region. Unfortunately, in August 2019, the facility met a major financial loss from one of its key supporters. This led to the dismissal of the clinic’s Nurse and Laboratory Technologist, leaving the facility in low mode now with only a Clinical Assistant and HIV/AIDS Counselor. Without the two senior key personnel, the clinic is struggling to adequately meet the needs of the increased workload and quality service provision in the areas of testing and diagnosis, as well as care for mothers and babies during and following childbirth. Because the work of the clinic largely depends upon support from friends and supporting churches, it is Pastor Kayando’s prayer that the Lord will make a way for more funding to come and fill the present gap. They receive a very limited supply of medicines from the government; most of what they need comes directly from ministry support partners. Because a large number of patients now come in for services, it is critical that the lost financial support is replaced so that the Nurse and Laboratory Technologist may be rehired. Pastor Kayando shepherds his church, Kager Vision Centre and his prayer is that the medical needs of his community can be met along with the spiritual needs as he continues his work spreading the gospel, bringing lost souls to Christ, and raising up leaders in the Church to change the world. timnbron.co.nz</image:caption>

      <image:title>Core Beliefs (2023) - It's about IDENTITY</image:title>
<image:caption>Matthew 22:37 Jesus declared, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” We are created for daily, intimate time at Jesus' feet. Fostering an authentic, personal relationship with Jesus takes an every day commitment. It should be the desire of every follower of Christ to have a personal, intimate, daily experience at the feet of Jesus. This means intentionally spending time each and every day in prayer, in worship, and in God’s Word. Spending this consistent time with Jesus, both listening to Him and talking to Him, is where God will daily mold your heart into a heart like His.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Core Beliefs (2023) - It’s about BELONGING</image:title>
<image:caption>In Matthew 22:39 Jesus says, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” We are created for community, for care, and for accountability. The New Testament encourages us to live in community with each other in order that we might learn to love one another. This means accepting and forgiving one another, loving and serving one another, even bearing one another’s burdens. Jesus modeled this when He chose to live closely connected to twelve men He called disciples. We believe that choosing to live closely connected to and accountable to a small group of believers will better allow God to do His transformational work in your life.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Core Beliefs (2023) - It’s about PURPOSE</image:title>
<image:caption>In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus says, “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” We are created to use our gifts to point others to a relationship with Jesus. God redeems our lives so that we can be used for His purposes...to bless people. God gives special gifts to each believer and when we use those gifts to bless people it brings glory to God. You were saved and given a new nature so that you can shine God’s light and love into other people’s lives. If you are a believer, then God has gifted you to be an agent of His grace. In Him your life has a new purpose. Every day you’re called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who need His love and grace more than ever.</image:caption>
