OUR MISSION:
Reach the lost, develop leaders and plant churches thru a Christ-like ministry of compassion, empowerment, and community partnership, in Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
CHURCH PLANTING & STRENGTHENING:
M/HVCM works hand in hand with a team of local preachers called the Lowveld Minister’s Fraternal/Fellowship who meet monthly. All new church plants are planned and implemented by this group. They are also responsible for coordinating all local church events, conferences and evangelistic campaigns. The partnership is also striving to grow local churches and strengthen the disciples’ faith in these churches. Evangelistic efforts are not limited to Zimbabwe. M/HVCM has three local preachers and one Zimbabwean missionary working in five congregations with new plants being started in Mozambique. M/HVCM provides scholarships for future pastors to attend Zimbabwe Bible College.
FORMAL EDUCATION:
M/HVCM provides accountability and leadership for Mashoko Christian Schools Board (MCSB) which is the responsible authority of 26 schools with over 17,000 students. They are responsible for the staffing and running of these schools as agents of the Ministry of Education. MCSB is given complete freedom of religion, therefore Bible Knowledge is taught as a subject. M/HVCM has on staff a Chaplain of Mashoko Christian Schools, Cephas Zivanai. He regularly visits and holds services at our schools with children and teachers. He also coordinates and organizes our School Revivals. M/HVCM provides scholarships for future teachers.
ORPHANAGE:
M/HVCM operates an AIDS Orphanage with 80 orphans from two locations: Chiredzi Christian Children’s Home and Chiredzi Christian Children's Village. Our commitment to the children is a lifelong one. We have purchased two halfway houses for our graduates who need a place to live while continuing career preparation.
MEDICAL:
Dine and Damarakanaka Clinic. M/HVCM is partnering with Hasten International to provide these clinics with the resources necessary to care for the sick and provide preventive medical care in the rural area where they are located.
